If you were to die today, where would you go? 

Hebrews 9:27 says that after death is the judgement. 

God will judge you, after death, for the works you've done in this life. 

1. You have sinned and come short of the glory of God. You works condemn you. 
2. The penalty of sin is separation from God in a place of fire. 
3. God loves you even though your sin is terrible in His sight. 
4. God's son, Jesus Christ, came to the earth to take the punishment of your sin. The wrath of God was satisfied by the crucifixion of Jesus. 
5. Jesus rose from the grave to show us that He has power over death, sin and the grave. He can give you what he purchased for you: eternal life and power over death, sin and the grave. 
6. You must repent and believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ to have eternal life and be saved. 

You could pray a prayer like this, repeating these words will not save you, but meaning these words from your heart will: 

Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I realize that I am guilty and worthy of punishment for my sins. But I believe you died and rose again. I believe you love me and have offered to give me eternal life if I would ask you to. I pray and ask this in faith, Amen.
