Welcome to the online home of mount Pisgah Baptist church

Located in rural Oliver Springs, Tennessee.

Whether you like a small country church or prefer a larger congregation we believe that Mount Pisgah Baptist Church has the right place for you. Large enough to reach the world, yet small enough to care for you. Come for a Sunday morning or evening worship service and you will find a loving group of east Tennessee people as well as hear a Biblical message of truth. We are situated on a 40 acre campus that also hosts a Christian Academy, Print Shop & Preschool. We are only a 5 minute drive west of the traffic light in Oliver Springs and 15 minutes east of Harriman. We look forward to meeting you!"

We preach the gospel and good news of salvation from sin.

We teach God’s Word as a light unto our path.
We enjoy the fellowship that Christ brings to us as a body of believers.
We strive to send laborers and ministers out into the other parts of the world.

We believe that the Lord loves all mankind, and through Jesus Christ we are brought into fellowship with God. We are a family, proclaiming the love and grace of God as outlined in Scripture. At Mount Pisgah, we welcome all those who believe, as well as those who are seeking to know the truth.

At each service, we gather for meaningful worship to study God’s word. We reach out to care for our neighbors in the name of Christ, both here, and around the world. We have fun and fellowship in a variety of activities ranging from dinners to sporting events. As we work and worship together, we find that our faith grows as we enjoy friends - old and new.

"As a native of Oliver Springs, I have a special burden to see God's word reach the uttermost and make a difference in this community. I'm blessed and honored to pastor this church where I grew up as a boy. For over 40 years, God has entrusted our church with the opportunity to live out the gospel by declaring Christ in this area and developing believers in the church."
