Children’s Ministry

“Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.”  We strongly emphasize this ministry because it truly is the future of the church. The programs within our children’s ministry focus on children ages 3 through 6th grade. 

AWANA 

This is a Wednesday night program for all the children age 3 through 6th grade. Scripture memorization is a great part of this program. In AWANAS, children also enjoy a Bible lesson, songs, and fun games. Children meet Wednesday nights in the "old auditorium" 6:45 - 8:15 PM. This program runs from Mid-September through Mid-May each year.

Summer Time Bible Time

During summer months, there is a weekly, Wednesday night Bible class where the children are taught songs as well as Bible stories. 

Summer Camp

This is a week-long church camp for children ages 8-12 in Murfreesboro, TN. This is always a highlight of the year, and the children have a wonderful time. For more information on The Bill Rice Ranch, click on the link below. 

Sunday Morning Children’s Church

All Children's church classes take place during the morning worship services and are divided into three different classes according to age.

• Preschool church – a service for children ages 3-4 (located in the lower level of the church)
• Primary church- a service for children  ages 5-8 (located in the lower level of the church)
• Junior church - a service for children ages 9-12 (located in the “old” auditorium)

Sunday Evening Children’s Church 

This class is for children ages three to eight years old. Just before the sermon begins, Pastor Walls dismisses the children to this class.  

GPS Children's Choir 

GPS stands for "God's Precious Singers" and is a choir for young children up through the 6th grade.
